Back for Beef 2027 — we’ll see you in Rocky

We’re pleased to share that Teys is once again a Principal Partner of Beef 2027, returning to Rockhampton for what has become the biggest week on the Australian beef calendar.

With the event set to run from 2–8 May 2027, the countdown is officially on — and across the industry, planning is already well underway.

A proud part of the industry calendar

Since its beginnings in 1988, Beef Australia has grown into a world-class event that brings together the full breadth of the beef industry — from paddock to plate and everything in between.

Held every three years, it’s a unique opportunity to see the scale, strength and diversity of Australian beef in one place. Across the week, Rockhampton becomes a hub for connection — with producers, processors, scientists, chefs, students, exporters and industry partners all coming together to share knowledge, explore new ideas and celebrate what makes this industry so strong.

The event continues to grow, attracting visitors from across Australia and around the world, highlighting not only the quality of our product, the reputation of Aussie beef, and importantly the people and partnerships behind it.

A week to connect, learn and look ahead

Beef Week has always been about cattle judging, partner connections, vendor displays and demonstrations and at its core it is about bringing the industry together at one point in time, in one place.

It’s a chance to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the supply chain. It’s where new ideas are shared, practical insights are exchanged, and the latest developments across breeding, feeding, processing and export come to life.

From research and innovation through to real, on-the-ground experience, Beef 2027 will once again showcase what’s happening right across the supply chain — and where it’s heading next.

Looking forward to seeing our producer partners

For us at Teys, that’s what makes the week so valuable.

It’s a chance to step away from the day-to-day and spend time with our producer partners, catching up face-to-face, sharing perspectives, and continuing the conversations that underpin long-term relationships.

These connections are what drive our industry forward — built over time, strengthened through shared experience, and reinforced by opportunities like Beef Week where we can come together in person.

Beef is where the industry comes together — and that’s what makes it so valuable. It’s the chance to reconnect with our producer partners, listen, learn and stay close to what’s happening on the ground. We’re looking forward to being back in Rockhampton and catching up with everyone again in 2027.”
Glenn Poole, Group General Manager Livestock, Teys Australia

We’re looking forward to Beef 2027. Across the week, our Livestock team will be there with the Teys marquee offering a central spot to catch up and keep the conversations going.
