Mapping out the right career path for you
We want to work with you and support your career in every way we can. This starts with the wide range of traineeships, apprenticeships, school-based learning and graduate programs on offer. And then, once you join the Teys team, we offer certificate programs for Meat Processing, Feedlot Operations, Business, Electrical and Mechanical, just to name a few.
Investing in our future leaders
Our graduate program is part of our ongoing investment in the development of our future leaders – both for our business and the broader food industry.
Our programs provide hands-on experience working across departments such as Operations, Environment, Asset Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Safety, and Livestock. They give graduates the chance to become part of our team and work on strategic projects and assignments within our business.
We also offer access to external courses and learning opportunities, to make sure we’re doing what we can to give our graduates the practical development, mentoring, and coaching to succeed.
Training and Development Opportunities
We make sure that everyone who works at Teys has all the tools they need to excel in their role. This is why we offer a range of training and development opportunities.
Coaching Opportunities
Secondments and special projects
Formal and informal learning
Networks of people to support employees
At Teys, we support our people to learn and grow. When you join our team, there are opportunities to undertake Certificate IV and Diploma level qualifications through one of our partner registered training organisations, and gain qualifications in areas like processing, safety, human resources, food safety, administration, or finance and frontline management.
We also offer access to broader business educational programs, like Graduate Certificates and MBAs. We want to make sure we provide the opportunities to help our people reach their full career potential.
