The Teys Certified Angus Program is built on breed authenticity, quality assurance, and supply chain integrity, with every step independently verified.

Breed Requirement

To be eligible, cattle must be Angus or Angus-cross with a required minimum of 75% Black Angus genetics. This ensures the consistency and eating quality expected from the Certified Angus label.

Vendor Declarations & Checks

Cattle are graded at participating processing plants, and producers receive detailed feedback through the MSA system to benchmark and improve herd performance over time.

MSA Grading Standards

To protect the premium eating experience, all cattle must meet the Meat Standards Australia (MSA) grading requirements. This includes adherence to MSA-approved handling and production standards, along with a completed MSA Vendor Declaration.
